
The newest iOS the iOS 5 was launched last October 12th and the said operating system is now available in all existing models of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Get a free update today if you haven’t already.
The main question is, what makes this operating system different from the first few? If you are fed up having to go through so many buttons to access your texts or your emails through your iPhone, the new OS will change all this because you will finally be able to take a look at updates including all notifications from anywhere on your iPhone and get this –even if it is locked. Now this is hardly revolutionary but hey, as always, it looks better with an Apple.
When the late Steve Jobs revealed that the iPad 2 was going to be the first post PC gadget, no one wanted to believe him especially because one had to plug it into a computer before use. Jobs however knew what was going to happen. Enter iOS 5 and you shell liberate your iOS device forever. You can set up the said operating system without using a USB cable and you will also see that everything will sync effortlessly. Isn’t that just wonderful?
Do you remember iCloud? In one of the past topics in this blog, we talked about the iCloud versus the SkyDrive. With iOS 5, you can back up all your documents through the iCloud. This however will replace MobileMe and according to sources, MobileMe will be retiring by June of 2012.
The technology giant has revamped the graphics in the iOS 5 including the camera. This is a wonderful development especially for people who love storing their photos in their Apple gadgets. Another plus is that you can now organize all of your photos on your Apple device and even get to edit them right there.
