iPods are the best invention for those who love music since they make it possible for a person’s entire music library right at his or her fingertips. Having an iPod means you can easily access your music. The only problem is, what if you have already become dependent on your iPod but just recently it has started to not work properly? That would definitely ruin one’s day especially if you are accustomed to listening to your music while on commute or while working, driving or doing the things you do on a daily basis.

Here are two of the most common iPod problems encountered by iPod owners. For other iPod problems, you may want to contact an iPod repair shop.

My iPod Got Wet!

It got what? This is possibly the worse thing that could happen to an electronic gadget –mixing electronics and water is definitely not a good idea. You probably tried to turn your iPod on when you dropped it in a puddle or exposed it in water, if you already turned it on, you are screwed. If you haven’t turned it on, don’t. Wait a week or two to let the whole thing dry and open it later on. You would also have to check whether the battery is working after its two-week hiatus.

My iPod’s Battery Won’t Stay On!

Relax. It can be a problem on the board or the battery itself. How do you determine what’s wrong? If your iPod has been gradually underperforming –it is the battery. If it happened in a flash without any signal that it will turn itself off, then it’s the board that needs to be fixed. Batteries can be bought but if it is the board that has a problem, you would have to make sure you have enough money to get it fixed.
