Eulogy written and delivered on an iPad
The author of naked ipad, may be the first person to write and read a eulogy via iPad. The owner of nakedipad has blogged recently that he used his iPad to write and deliver a eulogy. The speech was prepared via a blue tooth keyboard as well as the on-screen keyboard.
I think this is ulimately the most ideal use for the ipad. Not necessarily a eulogy, but preparing speeches, presentations and using the iPad as a sales tool on sales calls. What I am calling the “non-orientation” of the iPad makes it easy for everyone to see and to show a client a website or widget by just handing the iPad to them. For presentations, the iPad can be held in your hand but can also be passed around the room if a client would like to see a facet of the presentation in greater detail.
The iPad’s ideal application is using it in a portable facility and being able to prepare and present on the go with the same device. There is no jump drive, no projector cables nothing, just a thin, touch screen.
